Planning For My Aleve Commercial
I plan to create a commercial advertisement. The product I will be advertising is the pain reliver: Aleve. In particular, Aleve liquid gel capsules. Liquid gel capsules are different because thy act faster than normal pills.
In order to create an effective and realistic advertisement, it would be best to incorporate common trends of medicine advertisements. For example, most Aleve commercials feature characters that commonly have pain (mostly arthritis). Therefore, I plan to include characters that experience regular pain as well. Furthermore, characters in Aleve ads usually have some sort of dilemma caused by their pain. I will also incorporate that characteristic into my commercial.I plan to create a scene of a picnic in which the character is asked to go get an item for the picnic. While walking at a brisk pace toward the house, the character has to bend over and rub their knee because it is in pain. Then, once the character gets back to the house, they decide to take an Aleve liquid gel capsule due to the pain. After they have collect the picnic supplies and take the pill, they walk back out to the picnic at the same pace they previously experienced pain from but, they are able to walk back pain-free.Luckily, no special costumes or outfits are required for a Aleve commercial. The only props needed for the commercial would be the picnic supplies and bottle of Aleve liquid gel capsules.
The place I plan to film in is my backyard. My backyard has grass and nice plants in it. This makes it a good place for a picnic to be filmed in. The background will make the shots look like a realistic picnic.
The plan for shooting is to first set up the picnic set with the picnic props. Then, I will shoot the commercial shots one at a time. Following that, I will use editing software to put them together as one 30 second commercial.
If the commercial goes wrong, I will instead do an advertisement for Nike shoes.
