Planning Storyboard for my Aleve Commercial

Image
  1. The first section of my storyboard depicts a boy and a woman.  In it, they are in a grassy field and have a picnic blanket.  The day is sunny and pleasant and they are enjoying their picnic. 2. In my second section, the boy in the picnic asks the woman if she can go retrieve salt from the house.  Even though the section only depicts the boy, the shot it will soon reference will include the woman as well.  This shot sets up the conflict of the advertisement: the woman versus her knee pain. 3. The shot shown in the third section is the woman walking off to the house to get the salt.  During her walk, she will experience knee pain.  In the shot, the boy won't be in it the entire time, like the section hints at.  On the contrary, the boy will be out of the shot soon after the woman starts walking.  I drew the boy in the section because it provides a guide for me to follow and shows the camera should start on the whole scene and pan the woman...

Planning For My Aleve Commercial

Image
I plan to create a commercial advertisement.  The product I will be advertising is the pain reliver: Aleve.  In particular, Aleve liquid gel capsules.  Liquid gel capsules are different because thy act faster than normal pills. In order to create an effective and realistic advertisement, it would be best to incorporate common trends of medicine advertisements.  For example, most Aleve commercials feature characters that commonly have pain (mostly arthritis).  Therefore, I plan to include characters that experience regular pain as well.  Furthermore, characters in Aleve ads usually have some sort of dilemma caused by their pain.  I will also incorporate that characteristic into my commercial. I plan to create a scene of a picnic in which the character is asked to go get an item for the picnic.  While walking at a brisk pace toward the house, the character has to bend over and rub their knee because it is in pain.  Then, once the character gets...

I am going to make a commercial soon.  The commercial I plan to make is a medicine commercial.  More specifically, an Aleve commercial.  Specifically, I will use Aleve Liquid Gel Capsules.  These differ from normal Aleve pills because they are much faster-acting. In order to make it, I will have to shoot it myself and edit it myself.  I am still learning about how to use editing software but, by the end of the commercial project, I will surely be proficient enough to edit a 30 second clip. In preparation for planning and filming my commercial, I have watched many official Aleve commercials.  Most of them share common trends.  For example, most actors in Aleve commercials, proclaim they have some kind of pain they want relieved and some dilemma they face because of it.  Then, once they find Aleve, their problem gets solved.  Another trend is showing happy scenes and movement.  An example of a happy scene could be a picnic or su...
